The general mandate of RPNS-YN is to promote awareness, education, and engagement among Kenyan youth in matters related to radiation protection. The group aims to foster a culture of safety and responsible use of radiation sources for the benefit of society. Therefore, below are the main things we promote;

Advocate for the adoption of best practices in radiation protection and safety in Kenya.

Provide a platform for the exchange of information and ideas on radiation protection and safety.

Provide expert advice and guidance on radiation protection and safety to the government, industries, and the public.
